I knew I needed to help the people in my community and beyond by bringing much-needed paper products, cleaning supplies and food to the folks who shouldn’t or couldn’t go out to get them themselves. As I began this journey, I heard stories of unemployment, sickness, as well as lack of money or transportation, and no family close by to help out. I knew then that I had found exactly what I was looking for – a way to help people with needs, any needs, anywhere, anytime. And so my project was born. Through donations from Cavanaugh and his organization, “Cool & Dope”, as well as donations from big companies like Brawny and Wegmans, and individuals in our community and my friends on the police force, I have been visiting homes and hosting drive-thru pantry days in order to give out my Kare Packages, share a moment with people, give a bit of comfort and kind words. The feeling of joy for everyone is what makes me happy. I hope to continue my mission, through donations and fund-raising, for many years to come. I plan on helping people when needs arise, whether it is for a community during a pandemic or after a disaster, or whether it is for one person with a specific need. As I said before: any need, any time. I also hope to inspire other kids to join Kids Who Kare, and give their time and good vibes, just as Cavanaugh did for me. Please enjoy my social media sites and be sure to check out our website. You can make a donation, volunteer your time, and soon be able to purchase “merch”. You can also request assistance through confidential messages. Please join me, because I know you kare!
